Introduction

I would like to thank darkFlash for supplying the review sample.

The DY470 is darkFlash unique entry into the dual-chamber fray. With its angled panels and asymmetrical shape, it is meant to stand out, while still showing off all your hardware not just through the two main panel, but also through the top thanks to a third glass piece. The DY470 also allows for two 360 mm AIO and darkFlash offers the chassis in either black or white. We received the white DY470 for review, so lets dive right in.

Packaging

The chassis ships in a plain brown box with a graphic on the front which doesn't have much to do with the chassis itself. Interestingly enough, the design uses six different fonts and repeats itself a bit as well. On the back, there are two images of the general chassis looks as well as a few visual selling points with accompanying text in eight different languages. On the aisle, there is a full list of specifications. Interestingly enough, while the brand site simply refers to the case as the DY470, the box adds a model name "ARCEE" to the number. On the other side, that same naming scheme continues, and you will find a more detailed list of selling points. A small white sticker will let you know what hue the chassis within the package has.

Two black foam spacers hold the chassis in place on the front and back. darkFlash embeds the accessories box in the foam as well, so you will have easy access to it during the unboxing of the DY470.
